Privacy policy
What data we collect, why, for how long, and your rights.
Before launch: the text is complete, but a lawyer should read it once, especially the warranty section. Company details are set in js/config.js.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller is [Company name SRL], VAT/CUI [CUI], Trade Register no. [J40/…], registered office at [Registered office address] (“Pronto Frost”, “we”). For any question about your data, write to [E-mail]. We are not required to appoint a data protection officer.
2. What we collect and where from

4. E-mails we send
If you signed up for the guides, you get a welcome e-mail and, occasionally, new guides or machines that may interest you. Unsubscribe at any time by replying “UNSUBSCRIBE” to any e-mail or by writing to us; we then delete your address.
5. Who else sees the data
- Amazon Web Services (AWS EMEA SARL): hosting, storing form data and sending e-mails, on servers in the EU (Frankfurt), under a GDPR data processing agreement.
- The carrier, at delivery: name, phone and delivery address.
- Our accountant, for sales documents.
- Authorities, only where the law requires.
- WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to message us there.
We never sell or rent your data.
6. Transfers outside the EU
Form data and the subscriber list are stored in the EU. If you message us on WhatsApp, Meta may transfer data to the US under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
7. Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to [E-mail]; we reply within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity.
You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP), dataprotection.ro.
8. How we protect data
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Form data and the subscriber list are kept in private storage that only Pronto Frost can access, with a password.
9. Cookies and browser storage
We use no advertising or analytics cookies and no third-party trackers. Fonts are hosted on our site, not by Google. Your browser keeps a few things locally (favourites, comparison list, unlocked guides); they never reach us and you can clear them at any time.
10. Children
The site is aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
11. Changes
If we change how we use data, we update this page. Last updated: 2 November 2026.
