Terms and conditions
How buying and selling the equipment shown on this site works.
Before launch: the text is complete, but a lawyer should read it once, especially the warranty section. Company details are set in js/config.js.
1. Who we are
prontofrost.ro (the “site”) is run by [Company name SRL], VAT/CUI [CUI], Trade Register no. [J40/…], registered office at [Registered office address] (“Pronto Frost”, “we”). E-mail [E-mail], phone [Phone].
2. What this site is
The site presents used professional equipment for gelato shops, pastry shops and labs, owned by Pronto Frost. It is not an online shop: no orders or payments are made through it.
A sale is concluded only on the basis of a written quote you accept and our invoice, after you have seen the machine in person or on a video call. Prices, availability and other information on the site are for information until a quote is issued.
3. The machines and how we describe them
All machines are used. For each one we show, as accurately as we can, the technical data, the cosmetic defects found (marked on the photos), the parts replaced and the values measured during inspection.
Grades A, B and C describe appearance only, not operation. Real photos may show slight colour differences. Illustrations used until real photos are added are indicative.
4. Prices, quotes and payment
- Prices on the site are in euro and exclude VAT.
- The written quote states the final price, VAT, the exchange rate used for invoicing, transport and installation costs and how long it is valid.
- Payment is made against an invoice, by bank transfer, as set out in the quote. We don't offer instalments.
- Ownership passes to the buyer after full payment.
5. Reservations
A machine can be reserved on the terms set out in the quote (for example a deposit and a reservation period). While reserved it is labelled “Reserved” on the site.
6. Viewing and testing
Before buying, you can see the machine running, at our premises or on a video call. What you see then, together with its page and inspection report, is the condition in which you buy it.
7. Delivery, installation and start-up
Transport, installation and start-up follow the quote. Before delivery we send a list of what to prepare: power supply, water and drain for water-cooled machines, ventilation space and access. If these are not ready, start-up is postponed and extra travel may be invoiced. At start-up we sign a commissioning report together.
8. Warranty and conformity
Pronto Frost does not offer a commercial warranty on used equipment. Machines are sold in the condition described on the site, in the inspection report and in the quote, after the buyer has been able to see them running.
Business buyers: the machine is sold as is, and our liability is limited to what the law provides for hidden defects we knew of and did not disclose.
Consumers: you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity under Romanian Emergency Ordinance 140/2021, which cannot be excluded by contract. For used goods, the agreed liability period is 1 year from delivery. Cosmetic defects and other aspects shown on the machine's page and in the quote are not a lack of conformity.
We are not liable for faults caused by unsuitable power supply, use or maintenance contrary to the manual, work by people not authorised by us, or normal wear after delivery.
9. Use and maintenance
Machines must be used and maintained according to their user manual. Daily sanitising, checking wear parts, food safety rules and permits for your premises are the buyer's responsibility.
10. Buying machines from you
Through “Sell us your machine” you can offer us equipment. Our offer based on photos is indicative; the final offer follows after we see and run the machine. Payment is made against an invoice (companies) or a sale contract (individuals). You confirm that the machine is yours and free of liens, and that the information you give is true.
11. Guides, calculator and configurator
Guides, videos, the payback calculator and the configurator are general information, free of charge, and are not technical, legal or financial advice for your case. Full access to the guides requires an e-mail address; see the Privacy policy.
12. Trademarks and content
Carpigiani, Bravo, IFI and other brands belong to their owners and are used only to identify the equipment. Pronto Frost is not an official representative, distributor or partner of these manufacturers. Texts, photos, reports, guides and videos on the site belong to Pronto Frost.
13. Liability for the site
We aim to keep the site accurate and up to date, but errors or stock delays can happen. The binding information is the written quote.
14. Complaints and disputes
Write to [E-mail]. We reply within 15 working days and first seek an amicable solution.
Consumers may also contact the Romanian consumer protection authority (anpc.ro) or use alternative dispute resolution as provided by law.
Romanian law applies. Disputes not settled amicably go to the competent courts in Romania.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on the date of the quote applies. Last updated: 2 November 2026.
